Lombok international airport (Bandara Internasional Lombok, commonly abbreviated to BIL, and Using the IATA code ‘’LOP”) is the only airport on Lombok. The airport clause to Praya (Central Lombok) approximately 40km south city   Mataram and around  4 hours from drive Senaru (Mt. Rinjani)

Air Asia operates irect flights between Lombok and two Destinations in Malaysia, with many international connections available. Flights between Lombok and Kuala Lumpur operates every day and between Lombok and Johor Bahru 3 times per week.

DOMESTIC FLIGHTS

European connections are easy via Jakarta ( the capital city of java), bali and other capital cities such as Jogjakarta, Surabaya and Makassar. Direct flights from Jakarta to Lombok are available every day and are usually timed to connect with European flights. Lombok is easily accessible from Jakarta, Bali, Jokjakaarta, Surabaya and makassar and is important connection for travel to the eastern islands, in particular the islands of sumbawa, Komodo and flores.

Batavia Air is a new airline flying daily between Surabaya and Lombok every day and has connecting flights to many other Indonesia destinations.

Get to Mount Rinjani

We can manage the transport to Senaru or Sembalun Lawang. These two village can be reached by private and charter vehicle or by public bus. From the west, catch a bemo to Anyar, from where bemos travel to Senaru about every 20 minutes until 4 pm.
If you are coming from or going to eastern Lombok get off at the junction near Bayan (your driver will know it), from where bemos go to Senaru. To Sembalun Lawang and Sembalun Bumbung, from Kokok Putek  to the north, a few bemos run along the rough road to both villages, usually only in the morning.
